CRNA Locum Tenens (Central Pennsylvania, Level I Academic Center)

Start: ASAP|Through: 2026|Openings: 3 CRNAs|EMR: Cerner

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no call)

Setting: Large academic medical center (OR & NORA)

  • Team model: Medical direction, typical 2:13:1 ratios; strong anesthesia tech support.
Schedule
  • Primary shifts: 8s (6:30a3p) and 10s (6:30a5p).
  • Optional: 12s (6:30a7p) considered; Thursday 7:30a starts.
  • Lunch: Off the clock (e.g., 7a12p; 1p5p).
  • Overtime: Must be approved by department admin; no guaranteed hours; callback is patient-facing hours.
Case Mix
  • Included: General, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, NORA, robotics, gynecology, ENT; airway management; invasive monitoring (arterial, CVP/CVC, PA catheter as indicated).
  • Not required: Hearts, OB, regional/blocks.
Requirements
  • Certification: NBCRNA + BLS/ACLS/PALS (active).
  • License: Pennsylvania (PA-only; IMLC not accepted).
  • Experience: 1+ year, able to hit the ground running (references requested at submission).
  • Privileges: Standard credentialing; 90 days typical; no temporary privileges.
  • Teaching: No resident/teaching supervision required.
  • DEA: Not required for CRNAs in PA.

  • Nearest airport: Harrisburg International (MDT).
  • Lodging & travel: Provided per policy.
