Job description

ASC Administrator,Spring Park Surgery Center

Lead one of Iowa's pioneering Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Founded in 1986, Spring Park Surgery Center was Iowa's first office-based ASC and has built a long-standing reputation for providing high-quality outpatient surgical care.

Today, Spring Park is a high-volume, specialty-focused surgical center performing approximately 8810 cases annually, including:

6800 ophthalmology cases
1900 urology cases
110 dental cases

We are seeking an experienced ASC Administrator to lead operations, clinical quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and team development.

The Administrator Will:
  • Lead daily operations, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and OR utilization.
  • Partner closely with ophthalmologists, urologists, dentists, anesthesia providers, and staff.
  • Champion patient safety, quality, infection prevention, and exceptional patient experience.
  • Oversee regulatory and accreditation readiness, including CMS requirements and AAAHC.
  • Manage the operating budget, labor and supply costs, and financial performance.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Drive improvements in efficiency, first-case starts, turnover times, physician satisfaction, and patient satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in an ASC or surgical setting.
  • Previous ASC leadership experience preferred.
  • Understanding of ASC operations, regulatory compliance, quality, and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • MHA, MBA, or CASC preferred.
