We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC). The Women's Health Unit consists of a 30- bed Antepartum/Postpartum, 18 bed Normal Newborn Nursery, 6 bed Intermediate/Special Care, 6 bed LDR, 6 bed High Risk, 2 bed L&D Triage area, and 2 OR suites. We care for both low and high- risk laboring patients, antepartum, scheduled, and unscheduled and emergent cesarean sections, high risk care of pregnant patients with co-morbidities such as preeclampsia, diabetes, cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions. Care of the pregnant patient carrying a child with congenital malformations or life- threatening conditions. Care of patients experiencing pre-term labor, multiple gestational pregnancy, and serious complications of pregnancy.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:

  • A BSN degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required.

  • BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire

  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

  • 1 Year of L and D experience

BSN Pay Range: $34.48 -$59.92 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
