Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

Edit short- and long-form video content using Adobe Creative Suite for digital, social, and broadcast platforms
Implement feedback from producers and editorial teams quickly and accurately to refine storytelling
Deliver high-quality video projects on deadline with strong attention to detail, pacing, and narrative structure
Manage media workflows including ingesting, organizing, archiving, and tracking assets across projects
Apply best practices for media storage and maintain highly organized project files
Collaborate closely with production teams in the planning and execution of video shoots
Contribute creative ideas that elevate storytelling and align with Men's Health and Women's Health brand voices

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

3+ years of experience in video editing and post-production, including motion design, or equivalent experience
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to troubleshoot media and technical issues
Familiarity with additional editing tools such as Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms
Strong sense of storytelling, with an exceptional eye for pacing, sound design, and shot selection
Experience with audio mixing and color correction/grading
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced production environment
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Experience with camera work, lighting, or live audio is a plus
Based in New York City with the ability to work in-office 4 days per week


The hourly rate for this position is $50, with a schedule of approximately 28 hours per week.
