Assembly & Machine Operator Opportunities - Howell, MI
Snelling Staffing Services is currently hiring Assembly Associates and Machine Operators for a growing manufacturing company in Howell, MI. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule & Pay
  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire for outstanding candidates
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates will participate in:
  • An onsite interview
  • Facility tour
  • Paid orientation upon accepting an offer
Based on the interview and tour, candidates may be placed in one of the following departments:
  • Machine Operator
  • Assembly
  • Paint Line Racking
Assembly Associate Responsibilities
  • Assemble products by hand according to specifications
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process
  • Follow all safety procedures and production standards
  • Package finished products for shipment
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy
Machine Operator Responsibilities
  • Load and unload parts into production machines
  • Enter and update production data in the computer system
  • Make basic machine adjustments, including airflow settings
  • Perform quality inspections on finished parts
  • Complete light assembly tasks as needed
General Responsibilities
  • Assemble products by hand
  • Accurately enter production data into the computer system
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
