Job description

Job Title: Robot OperatorJob Description

The Robot Operator role combines hands-on work with robotic systems and careful review of structured data. You will teach robots manipulation skills, generate high-quality motion and grasping datasets, review captured data for accuracy and completeness, and provide clear, structured feedback to engineering and AI teams to support ongoing improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Operate robotic systems to perform pick-and-place tasks safely and consistently.
  • Teach and demonstrate correct grasping techniques across a wide variety of SKUs and product types.
  • Execute repeatable motion sequences to create high-quality training data for robotics and AI teams.
  • Review captured motion and grasping data for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
  • Provide structured feedback to engineering and AI teams based on observations during robot operation and data review.
  • Follow established safety procedures and protocols while working in active robotic cells.
  • Handle materials and packaging items as part of the robot operation workflow.
  • Support general labor, inventory, and general production activities related to robotic operations.
  • Use computer systems to log activities, track data, and document issues or anomalies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe robot operation.
Essential Skills
  • Strong attention to detail when operating robots and reviewing captured data.
  • Ability to follow structured tasks and procedures precisely and consistently.
  • Comfort performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as part of material handling and general labor tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency to work with data entry and simple software tools.
  • Material handling experience in a production or warehouse environment.
  • Packaging experience related to handling and preparing products.
  • General labor skills, including basic production and inventory support.
  • Reliable general production experience in a structured, process-driven environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong observational skills to identify issues in robotic motions and grasping performance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with engineering and AI teams about operational findings.
  • Comfort working with technology and learning new tools used in robotic operations.

Work Environment

The setting is production-oriented, with a focus on safety, structured procedures, and efficient workflow.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
