Job Description
Anglin Consulting Group is looking to hire a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN). Duties include:
  • Performs a comprehensive assessment on all assigned patients as evidenced by completed documentation.
  • Supports patient/family/spiritual/cultural needs when assessing the patient and family needs for teaching; identifies the patient's learning level and readiness, and documents education record.
  • Communicates changes in patients condition promptly.
  • Utilizes appropriate nursing diagnosis and data from the assessment to derive realistic outcomes and documents them as measurable goals on the plan of care; modifies care plan, if indicated, in order to identify realistic patient goals.
  • Identifies and prioritizes patient needs and/or nursing diagnosis for patients and documents.
  • Collaborates with patient, family, and other members of the health care team when planning patient care, and documents accordingly.
  • Assesses patients with regard to discharge planning and makes the appropriate referrals as necessary.
  • Implements nursing interventions consistent with the established plan of care.
  • Demonstrates safe medication administration.

  • Oversees and directs the work of patient care or support techs; maintains overall accountability for the care of assigned patients.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills in leading and directing others; deals with conflict directly and appropriately.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the charge nurse/preceptor role when assigned; assumes responsibility for coordinating patient care for the entire unit

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Current unrestricted RN license from any state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in related field or a Master's Degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred
  • Two (2) years current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical setting exclusive of agency assignments and must have worked within the last six (6) months in the above settings
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) from by the American Heart Association.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Skills
  • Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written).
  • Flexible and able to make quick accommodations to schedule changes as well as process changes and to travel with limited notice.
  • Computer skills/experience.
  • Organized and able to multitask; prioritizes based on protocol and visit parameters.
  • Consistent preparedness for specific visits requirements as well as equipment and additional supplies for potential trouble shooting at the visit.
