Brand Ambassador
Location: Tempe, AZ
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Position Summary:
The Cannabis Brand Ambassador plays a critical role in representing Mint Cannabis at events, promotions, and across digital platforms. This role is responsible for building brand awareness, creating engaging content, and serving as an enthusiastic, professional face of the company both in person and online.
The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, comfortable in front of crowds and cameras, and savvy with current social media trends. While not a full-time influencer, this individual understands digital engagement, cannabis culture, and how to create buzz while maintaining compliance and professionalism in a highly regulated industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a front-facing brand ambassador at community events, retail promotions, pop-ups, and cannabis industry functions.
  • Represent Mint Cannabis in public settings with confidence, professionalism, and knowledge of our products, services, and brand mission.
  • Create engaging digital content across Mint Cannabis-approved social media channels that aligns with brand voice and industry compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends in cannabis marketing, social media platforms, and consumer engagement techniques.
  • Proactively build relationships with customers, patients, community partners, and retail teams to grow brand presence.
  • Support event setup, vendor coordination, and live on-site promotions.
  • Monitor event engagement, capture photos/video, and provide post-event recaps.
  • Provide feedback to marketing leadership on market trends, event opportunities, and content ideas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign concepts, content calendars, and promotional strategies.
  • Maintain product knowledge of Mint Cannabis and partner brands.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Not Applicable

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing, events, promotions, cannabis retail, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience creating social media content with measurable audience engagement.
  • Comfortable speaking on camera, in-person, and via livestreams.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis products, consumption methods, and Arizona regulations.
  • Outgoing, confident, and highly self-motivated.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in Arizona.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance.

Education and Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Coursework or certifications in marketing, communications, or related fields are a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events and promotions.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs for event setup/breakdown.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various environments.

Work Environment:
  • Community events, industry functions, retail locations, and occasional office-based meetings.
  • Exposure to cannabis plant material and related product marketing.
  • Flexible schedule with frequent travel across the Phoenix metro area.

Travel Requirements:
  • Frequent in-state travel to events, promotions, and retail locations.
