They are typically brought in to cover short-term projects, employee absences, or busy periods. Temporary workers may work in various industries, including administrative, manufacturing, healthcare, and more. While they usually do not receive the same benefits as permanent employees, temp jobs can offer valuable work experience and flexibility.

What are some common challenges faced by temporary employees, and how can they be addressed?

Temporary employees often face challenges such as quickly adapting to new work environments, learning company processes in a short time, and building rapport with permanent staff. Many organizations provide onboarding resources and assign mentors to support temp workers, so taking advantage of these can ease the transition and help you perform effectively during your assignment.
