Who will be an experienced IT Specialist with expertise in Tools Strategy, evaluation, deployment, product selection, architecture/design, with a strong background in IT infrastructure technologies such as operating systems, storage, and databases. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of effective tools strategies and infrastructure solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Your role will involve evaluating, selecting, and deploying tools and technologies, as well as providing architectural and design guidance for IT infrastructure components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a vital role in enhancing the organization's IT capabilities and drive various projects around tools.
Skill / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven 10 years of experience in tools strategy, evaluation, deployment, product selection, and architecture/design.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including operating systems, storage, and databases.
• Proficiency in assessing and selecting tools and technologies based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Experience in deploying and integrating tools within complex IT environments.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  Job Responsibilities
  
• Develop and execute a comprehensive tools strategy to support the organization's IT goals and objectives.
• Evaluate existing tools and recommend improvements or alternative solutions to meet business requirements.
• Conduct research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify new tools and technologies that can be leveraged to improve IT processes that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead the deployment and implementation of selected tools, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and infrastructure with minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on tools and infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) for infrastructure projects, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to proactively monitor and ensure optimal performance of the data center environment.
• In depth understanding of platforms and tools like Nagios, SCCM/MECM/Satellite and so on.
• Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies, including operating systems, storage, and databases.
• Provide architectural and design recommendations for IT infrastructure components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshooting issues, and proposing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of tools and infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Train and support end-users on the effective use of tools and infrastructure technologies.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements, ensuring that tools and infrastructure solutions adhere to them.
