Job description

Salary:  $14.40/hr - no benefits 

This is a temporary position for Summer, 2026. 

Essential Duties: 
Grass cutting, edging, blowing, trimming, pruning, pine straw application, athletic field maintenance, playground equipment maintenance, moving services, fence maintenance, pressure washing, material handling, and more.  
Qualifications:

  1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions/directions. 

  2. Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment properly and safely. 

  3. Ability to work cooperatively with others. 

  4. Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and crawling. 

  5. Ability perform routine physical activities including, but not limited to: repetitive motion, bending, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with assistance. 

  6. Environmental conditions include, but are not limited to: moderate to loud noise levels, exposure to weather conditions including rain, hot and cold temperatures, dust, and dirt. 


This position is not a full-time job.  It is an "on-call" as needed basis only, and you are not guaranteed any number of days of employment.  Temporary workers are not eligible to draw unemployment wages. [Campbell v. Poythress, 216 Georgia Appeals 834 (1995)].
