About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Turn Maintenance Technician to assist with unit turns and general maintenance during the turnover season from July 8, 2026 - August 15, 2026. This position is responsible for preparing units for incoming residents by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs and inspections. The role is fast-paced and ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and thrives in a team environment.
MUST HAVE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS AND/OR EXTENDED HOURS.
What you'll do
  • Perform unit turns including basic repairs and general maintenance
  • Inspect and ensure units are ready for move-in according to company standards
  • Assist with furniture assembly, appliance installation, and light plumbing/electrical repairs
  • Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate with the maintenance supervisor or team lead about needed supplies or issues
  • Support teams as needed during turnover
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents or staff

Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required
  • Basic knowledge of tools, maintenance equipment, and safety procedures

Perks
  • $250 upon successful completion of Turn (determined by Area Service Manager)
