Job description

Tinker Federal Credit Union's branches on Tinker Air Force Base have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Teller! This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the nation's leading credit unions! As a Teller, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Providing a wide variety of TFCU Services to members
  • Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members by various delivery methods
  • Providing guidance to new and existing members in regard to the various credit union services with an emphasis on all current promotions
  • Serving as the face of the credit union, greeting members and offering assistance as a needed, while following all standard operating procedures

Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $20.00/hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
The expectations to work on Tinker AFB include working at all three TFCU branches on base. The hours are approximately 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday as well as working alternating Saturdays at an off-base TFCU location from approximately 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM.
Education/Experience:
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent which is required and one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.
  • Previous Bank Teller experience from a bank or credit union is preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Credentials to access Tinker AFB are not required before hire. TFCU will provide necessary paperwork to the employee upon hire to request temporary access to Tinker AFB during employment.
  • Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU's chosen authority
  • Complete regulations training
  • TFCU University certification required and completed

  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including rotating Saturdays as well as the ability to travel to various TFCU locations
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures as well as knowledge of TFCU products and services
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail to work multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations as well as knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards
  • Symitar navigation, NCR/Enterprise systems, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg J, Deluxe, Home Branch Messaging, MoneyGram, InfoImage, Co-Op locator, Synergy, QuickAssist, and Reg E Monetary Instrument log
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment
