PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer-Developer, at Tinker, AFB, OK. Job ID#218477 Job Description: The successful candidate for this Software Engineer position will to join the B-1b/B-52 Software team located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK and will focus on supporting the Space & Security (DS) business organization. The engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software system and subsystem engineering models utilizing Jira throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards. You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use. The Software Engineer will collaborate with a diverse engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software used to monitor and test the system. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing system and subsystem components and functionalities for systems integrations. Additionally, you will be a system and subsystem resource to team members, who will debug and resolve issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. Required Experience: - Ability to code in C and/or ADA - Embedded software design experience preferred - Experience with JIRA Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
