Job description

PCSI is looking for a Truck Driver Light CDL B with Passenger Endorsement at Tinker AFB! The CDL B Drivers operate a variety of vehicles from sedans to 1 vehicles, ½ ton trucks and 15-passenger vehicles. This position will report to the Ground Transportation Manager and is based at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. Part-time, no guaranteed hours

What You'll Do as Truck Driver Light- CDL B Driver with Passenger Endorsement:
  • Conduct daily inspections on vehicles before operating and annotate AF Form 1800.
  • Assists with loading and unloading of personnel and cargo.
  • Operates a variety of vehicles from sedans to 1-ton vehicles, ½ ton trucks and 15-passenger vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
  • Maintain proper radio etiquette, including the use of 10 series radio communication codes.
  • Performs other associated duties as assigned.
  • If assigned to VIP runs, may operate the VIP Minibus or Minivan.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Requires experience using hand tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently required to sit and climb or balance.
  • Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel. Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds assisted.
  • Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
  • Abide by the code of conduct for Distinguished Visitor Drivers.
  • Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to be on call after hours and handle emergency calls.
  • Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance/Secure Area Badge for assigned job and be flight line qualified (where applicable).
  • Must be able to obtain National Agency Check (NAC).
  • Must possess a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
