How hard is it to work with stainless steel?

Working as a temp in stainless steel involves handling durable, corrosion-resistant material that can be challenging to cut, shape, and weld without proper tools and techniques. The job can be physically demanding and may involve working with high temperatures or sharp edges.

Do fabricators make a lot of money?

Fabricators working with stainless steel can earn a competitive wage, especially with experience and specialized skills such as welding or blueprint reading. Salaries vary by location and employer, but skilled fabricators often have opportunities for overtime and advancement that increase earning potential.

What is the maximum working temperature of stainless steel?

For a Temp Stainless Steel role, the maximum working temperature of stainless steel typically ranges from 870°C (1600°F) for standard grades like 304 and 316, up to 1,400°C (2,552°F) for specialized high-temperature alloys such as Inconel. The specific maximum temperature depends on the grade and application, and working beyond these limits can compromise material integrity. Proper knowledge of stainless steel properties is essential for safe and effective handling in high-temperature environments.
