Position Overview:The Sorter supports daily warehouse sorting operations by supervising and training temporary staff, monitoring package exceptions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues. This role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end sorting processes, effective communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in DMS and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rotating early and late shifts. The hourly compensation range for this position is $22–$24 per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and overall fit for the role.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise temporary sorting staff during daily operations and provide training on sorting procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage exceptions, including damaged, missing, or delayed packages.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Complete other duties and projects assigned by management.
  • Proficiently use the Distribution Management System (DMS) and Microsoft Excel for daily operations and reporting.


Requirements:

  • Familiar with the end-to-end sorting process, from inbound receiving to outbound shipment.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong learning ability, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Capable of identifying process improvement opportunities and solving operational problems independently.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
