Job #: 103751 Title: Temp Administrative Assistant (Japanese Bilingual) Location: Torrance, CA Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.50 Position: Administrative Assistant Description:
An international company is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Temporary Administrative Assistant to work at their Torrance, CA office. This short-term temporary assignment will last until October 31, 2026.

  • Location: Torrance, CA
  • Position Type: Temporary
  • Assignment Duration: Up to October 31, 2026
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch break), First 90 days In-Office, then Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in office)
  • Pay Rate: $20-$21.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities of the Temp Admin Assistant:
  1. Handle general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, obtaining documents when needed, sorting and distributing mail and packages
  2. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and staff in Japanese and English
  3. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals in English and Japanese
  4. Maintain and track lease equipment, office supplies stock, cellular phones, office keys
  5. Coordinate and submit office maintenance requests with building management
  6. Register, create and manage key cards
  7. Manage company vehicles, including arranging car washes and routine maintenance
  8. Coordinate and plan internal company events

Requirements:
  1. Driver's License Required.
  2. Experience: Administrative clerical work experience preferred
  3. Language Skills: Japanese and English Bilingual required, must be able to write and speak in English and Japanese
  4. Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Numerical Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations, including discounts, fees, and totals
  6. Other Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in high pressure environment and the ability to work well in a team environment
  7. Physical: Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds
  8. Some travel and overtime may be required.
