Overview

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist - 18 month term to join our team in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition this is a new role and ideal for someone looking to contribute to the development of long-term recruiting strategies and find top talent with highly specialized skillsets.   

The Location:This position is based in Calgary, Alberta or Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for the following:

  • Partner with hiring managers to proactively source and attract top talent for our global teams.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, candidate communication, offer approvals, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and build talent pipelines for critical skillsets.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor by providing guidance on market trends, hiring strategies, interview best practices, and candidate assessment.
  • Partner with hiring managers across multiple business functions to deliver consultative, best-in-class recruitment services.
  • Collaborate with the global Talent Acquisition team to optimize recruiting processes, leverage recruiting technology, build talent pipelines, and strengthen employer branding.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide insights to support continuous improvement and informed hiring decisions.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment legislation, company policies, and internal hiring procedures.
  • Attend campus, industry, and networking events to promote Hexagon Autonomous Solutions and build relationships with prospective candidates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience while supporting Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects.
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience recruiting in a mix of corporate and agency roles.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting specialized engineering and technical roles across multiple countries.
  • A proven track record of successful recruitment and the development of a top talent pipeline.
  • Solid working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experinece with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of time.
