Banquet Captains are responsible for event set-up, working and/or running events, helping direct banquet student and temporary staff for individual events, maintenance of basic equipment and cleaning, and the breakdown of meeting and banquet rooms according to department standards. Handling cash/credit cards may be required at times. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Knowledge of the material methods and equipment used in setting up events. Help set up workstations with all needed supplies and equipment.
