Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is hiring a Temporary Full Time Travel RN in our PCU/Stepdown Unit!

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU/Stepdown Intermediate Care

Department/Unit Overview: The patient population on this 24-bed unit is step-down patients in need of intermediate care. This progressive care unit provides nursing care for patients who are too ill for the general medical/surgical units, but do not need an intensive level of care in the the ICU. Population is general medicine, surgical, chronic vents (4 beds), bypass patients. We are a Stroke Certified unit.

Education

  • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • ACLS
  • NIH stroke scale

Experience

  • Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital experience.
