Job description

Job Title: Brake Press Operator Department: Manufacturing Location: West Columbia, SC Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator for a company that values talented and driven individuals looking to excel and sharpen their skills

Required Qualifications Candidates must have 2 or more years of experience in the setup and operation of press brakes, along with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of CNC machining experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong math and blueprint reading ability, and must be able to follow written instructions accurately. Candidates must have reliable transportation along with strong punctuality.

Candidates should demonstrate above average mechanical aptitude, a proficient understanding of decimals and fractions, and the ability to convert between metric and U.S. standard units of measure. Candidates should also have demonstrated experience using various measuring devices, including but not limited to tape measures, height gauges, and calipers

Preferred Qualifications Experience operating a Trumpf or Salvagnini machine is a plus. Previous brazing or welding experience is preferred. Additional Requirements Candidates must apply with a fully updated resume.
