Job description

Enphase Energy is a global energy technology company and a leading provider of solar, battery, and electric vehicle charging products. Founded in 2006, our innovative microinverter technology revolutionized solar power, making it a safer, more reliable, and scalable energy source. Today, the Enphase Energy System enables users to make, use, save, and sell their own power. Enphase is also one of the most successful and innovative clean energy companies in the world, with more than 80 million products shipped across 160 countries.

Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-gen energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!

Enphase is developing a next-generation Solid-State Transformer (SST) platform for grid-scale energy conversion. We need a highly organized Project Manager Temp for 3 months to coordinate engineering, supply chain, test, and operations teams during a critical 3-month execution window with aggressive demo milestones. This role requires you to be onsite in our Austin, TX location.

What You WIll Do

  • Drive day-to-day coordination across hardware, firmware, power electronics, mechanical, test, and supply chain teams to meet SST deliverable milestones.
  • Coordinate engineering teams to build prototype SST products.
  • Build and maintain an integrated project schedule with clear milestones, dependencies, owners, and critical path.
  • Track procurement, long-lead items, and vendor deliveries; escalate supply chain risks before they become blockers.
  • Coordinate engineering change orders (ECOs) and configuration control through Arena PLM.
  • Manage build schedules for prototype and demo units - material kitting, lab scheduling, and build readiness.
  • Support vendor coordination including PO tracking, delivery follow-up, and on-site supplier support.

Who you Are and What you Bring

  • Exceptional cross-functional coordination - ability to align 5+ engineering disciplines and keep parallel workstreams on track.
  • Strong project scheduling with dependency management and critical path analysis.
  • Proven accountability and follow-through in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Clear, concise communication to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Experience coordinating procurement, vendor management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Comfortable working on-site in a lab/prototype environment alongside engineers.
  • Background in power electronics, energy storage, inverters, or transformer products.
  • Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) in a hardware-intensive environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of project/program management in hardware product development.
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams in a matrix organization.
  • Track record of delivering complex technical projects on schedule.

What Success Looks Like (3-Month Outcomes)

  • Integrated program schedule established within first 2 weeks, adopted by all workstreams.
  • Weekly cross-functional reviews running with clear action tracking.
  • Demo milestones delivered on time with no coordination-related delays.
  • Supply chain risks identified early and mitigated before impact.
  • Leadership has clear visibility into program status at all times.

The range for this position is $48 - $70/hr and may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
