Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT


Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Transformation Office for a temporary assignment. In this role, you will oversee three small equipment installation projects, coordinating hardware, software, operations, and IT stakeholders—including several third-party vendors. The work is fast-paced, with a short implementation window.


Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Effectiveness (40%)

  • Lead projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate challenging messages and escalate issues for resolution.
  • Operate with principle-centered leadership, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
  • Appropriately manage project teams, asking questions to promote discussion and ideas.

Best Practice Adherence (40%)

  • Manage projects using established best practices, balancing scope, time, cost, risk, and quality.
  • Comply with corporate and IT standards, including financial, security, audit, and configuration management.
  • Use company-standard project management tools.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations and recommend process improvements.

Organization, Communication & Prioritization (20%)

  • Handle multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and across locations.
  • Ensure clear communication within and across project teams, including scheduled meetings with Project Owners/Sponsors.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal groups involved in projects.
  • Assist with budget preparation, reporting, and cost-saving initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including managing teams up to 15 associates.
  • Experience managing projects for internal and external stakeholders.
  • 2 years of staff management.
  • Ability to work independently, deliver on tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to change.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Microsoft Project and Visio preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Project Management methodology training preferred.
  • Previous professional business experience (3–5 years preferred).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and effective team player.
  • Able to make complex regulations and processes understandable to staff.
  • Capable of coordinating multiple efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
