What is the shortest time to become a paralegal?

The shortest path to becoming a paralegal typically involves completing a certificate program, which can take a few months, or earning an associate degree in paralegal studies, usually about two years. AI technology can automate routine tasks performed by paralegals, such as document review and legal research, but it is unlikely to fully replace the role.
