eBay Compliance seeks a highly motivated, creative, process- and data-driven individual with foundational project management experience. This role will perform a critical function supporting the Sanctions Compliance Program for the US and international marketplaces, with a core focus on supporting the integration of eBay subsidiaries. This is a specialist role that reports directly to the eBay Sanctions Director.
Are you ready to:
  • Support Subsidiary Integration: Assist in onboarding newly acquired companies and subsidiaries into the core eBay sanctions compliance framework, ensuring alignment of policies, screening protocols, and risk appetites.
  • Project Management: Track milestones, maintain project timelines, and coordinate cross-functional tasks related to sanctions system upgrades, audits, and integration timelines.
  • Systems & Calibration: Develop and maintain sanctions screening systems; assist in driving screening re-calibration and testing to minimize false positives.
  • Product Collaboration: Define and drive sanctions screening requirements in collaboration with the product management team to implement seamless compliance controls.
  • Risk Identification: Assist the business and newly integrated entities in identifying, understanding, and mapping Sanctions risk exposures.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze business and transactional data to identify trends, track integration progress, and assess potential Sanctions risks.
  • Escalation Review: Review and investigate critical issues from ongoing screening processes for potential Sanctions nexus.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of compliance experience in fin-tech, e-commerce, start-ups, technology, or emerging financial services, with a strong focus on Sanctions program operations.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience tracking project achievements, managing documentation, and coordinating across multiple teams or business units.
  • Integration & Tooling: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with sanctions screening tool requirements, testing, calibration, and system implementation.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of OFAC and non-US Sanctions laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (including reporting and record retention).
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and time-critical environment, particularly during corporate transitions and integrations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Details
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$71,600 - $123,400
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
