Temp nurse practitioners perform many of the same duties as permanent nurse practitioners, such as diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and providing patient care. These positions can be found in hospitals, clinics, urgent care centers, and other healthcare facilities. Working as a temp NP offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in different healthcare settings.
