Job description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a professional and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for welcoming patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced medical office setting.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Verify patient insurance information and collect payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the healthcare team
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations
