OVERVIEW

The Construction General Laborer supports day-to-day project operations across both commercial and residential job sites. Working closely with Site Superintendents and the General Superintendent, this role is highly dynamic, hands-on, and requires daily flexibility. The laborer must travel to multiple job sites on a weekly—and sometimes daily—basis. The primary goal is assisting with physical tasks while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment for our teams and subcontractors.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Site Prep & Maintenance: Prepare, clean, and organize commercial and residential sites for daily operations.

· Site improvements: Remove vegetation, plantings, other land and hardscape materials. If required replace with new

· Material Handling: Transport and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment safely across sites.

· Manual Labor: Execute manual tasks with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to evolving project needs.

· Temporary Structures: Install and assemble scaffolding, ladders, enclosures, and job site signage.

· Machinery Operation: Safely work alongside heavy and light machinery, including forklifts, skid steers, lulls, and rental equipment while assisting the operators.

· Tool Operation: Run basic site equipment such as pumps, generators, shop vacs, and various power tools.

· Demolition: Assist with light demolition, debris removal, and general site teardown work.

· Handyman Tasks: Perform basic tasks in carpentry, painting, caulking, electrical work, and plumbing as required.

· Reporting: Track and document daily assignments accurately to assist with project progress reporting.

· Shop Care: Maintain, clean, and organize shop tools and equipment.

· Safety commitment: Consistently maintains a safety-first mindset, following site protocols and OSHA guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
