General Labor Associate

Position – General Labor Associate

Job Location – Pewaukee, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 1:00am)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $19-$22 per hour

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – Entry Level- 1 year of experience in shop environment preferred


Responsibilities

-Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of metal fabrication machinery (e.g., presses, shears, grinders).

-Load and unload raw materials, parts, and finished products.

-Measure and inspect materials to ensure they meet specifications.

-Perform basic assembly and packaging of metal products.

-Other general duties, deburring, packaging, etc. as assigned


Qualifications

-HS Diploma/GED required

-1+years of manufacturing experience preferred

-Exceptional attention to detail, safety focused, and perfect attendance are musts

SEEK was founded in 1971 by Carol Ann Schneider, CPC, SPHR, a Grafton, Wisconsin resident. The name SEEK was derived from a combination of initials in Carol’s family. It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
