Overview

Temp-Hire Utility (Equipment Yard Support) - Indio, CA

Looking for a hands-on job with the opportunity to be hired on permanently? Our Indio Rental Branch is seeking a dependable team member to help support daily yard operations.

Wages

The Utility's starting wage will depend on experience and education. $16-$17

Responsibilities

Pay: $16-$17 per hourSchedule: 7:30/8:00 AM - 5:00 PMType: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Interviewing Immediately (On-Site Only)

What You'll Do

  • Keep the equipment yard clean, organized, and safe.
  • Load and unload equipment for customers and employees.
  • Check equipment in and out.
  • Wash and clean equipment using a wash rack and steam cleaner.
  • Move equipment and materials throughout the yard.
  • Operate a 5,000-6,000 lb. warehouse forklift
  • Assist technicians and support daily yard activities.
  • Help receive and organize incoming equipment deliveries.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical work.
  • Comfortable lifting, moving, and handling equipment.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and a team player.
