Machine Operator – Precision GrinderPay: $18–$30/hour (based on experience)

About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Machine Operator – Precision Grinder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating grinding equipment to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.
Schedule
1st Shift
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift
- Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 12:15 AM
- Friday | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (additional hours as needed)
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate surface and finish grinding machines.
- Adjust speeds, feeds, and machine settings based on material requirements.
- Dress and maintain grinding wheels to achieve proper finishes.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and M-code.
- Operate CNC mills and lathes as needed.
- Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with surface or finish grinding operations.
- CNC machining experience, including mills and lathes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
- Experience with HAAS, Tormach, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
