  • Manage discovery workflows, including written discovery, document review, privilege logs, large-scale productions, ESI protocols, metadata, load files, and production specifications.
  • Coordinate with eDiscovery vendors, litigation support teams, experts, consultants, court reporters, videographers, and trial technology providers.
  • Prepare deposition materials, exhibits, summaries, designations, witness materials, trial binders, exhibit lists, demonstratives, and trial notebooks.
  • Provide trial technology and hot seat support, including organizing, loading, displaying, and retrieving exhibits, deposition clips, demonstratives, timelines, and impeachment materials.
  • Maintain case chronologies, witness summaries, issue lists, case timelines, document indices, and production logs.
  • Use litigation technology platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Concordance, CaseMap, Summation, TrialDirector, OnCue, Sanction, NetDocuments, or similar tools.
  • Support responsible use of approved AI-assisted legal tools for document review, summarization, chronology building, issue tagging, research support, and exhibit organization.
  • Track litigation deadlines, court dates, discovery cutoffs, hearings, trial dates, filing deadlines, and related case-management obligations.
  • Accurately record billable and non-billable time in accordance with firm policies, client guidelines, and applicable wage and hour requirements.
  • 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment preferred.
  • Must satisfy California paralegal requirements, including one of the following:
    • A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program;
    • A bachelorโ€™s degree plus at least one year of law firm experience under attorney supervision; or
    • Three years of law firm experience under attorney supervision.
  • Compliance with California paralegal continuing legal education requirements, including 4 hours annually, with 1 hour in legal ethics.
  • Significant experience supporting complex litigation, business litigation, commercial litigation, employment litigation, real estate litigation, class actions, or similar matters.
  • Strong knowledge of California state and federal court rules, procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience with eDiscovery platforms, litigation databases, document productions, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and hot seat support.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal research platforms, document management systems, e-filing systems, and litigation support tools.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple complex matters under tight deadlines.
Compensation

Annualized pay of $98,000-$130,000.
