Overview
The eDiscovery Analyst is responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of complex eDiscovery matters across the full Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and analytical professional who can successfully manage multiple concurrent projects, navigate competing priorities, and serve as a trusted advisor to legal, compliance, HR, information governance, and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine strong project management expertise with hands-on experience supporting eDiscovery technologies and workflows. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, solutions-oriented, and capable of anticipating stakeholder needs while delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
This role collaborates closely with attorneys, paralegals, IT personnel, records management teams, compliance professionals, and outside counsel to support litigation, internal investigations, regulatory responses, employment matters, and other discovery-related initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all phases of eDiscovery matters, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, production, and matter closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and provide end-to-end oversight of discovery projects.
  • Conduct and manage custodian interviews, legal hold activities, and document collections across a variety of matters.
  • Manage the process and tracking of employee interviews and document collections on active projects.
  • Utilize Relativity and other industry-leading eDiscovery platforms to support data collections, review workflows, search, analytics, productions, reporting, and quality control activities.
  • Execute searches of structured and unstructured data to identify potentially responsive and relevant information.
  • Review and interpret ESI protocols, discovery requests, and stipulations to ensure compliance with matter requirements.
  • Provide consultative guidance regarding data collections, processing specifications, review workflows, analytics strategies, and production requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with attorneys, compliance teams, HR, IT, records management, and external partners.
  • Coordinate project communications and ensure timely exchange of information, deliverables, risks, and status updates.
  • Define, communicate, implement, and monitor quality standards across all project deliverables.
  • Generate and distribute reporting metrics, project dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
  • Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively implement effective solutions.
  • Manage multiple high-priority matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service and meeting deadlines.
  • Mentor, train, and provide guidance to supporting project managers, analysts, administrators, or other team members.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of eDiscovery processes, workflows, documentation, and technology utilization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal operations, investigations support, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience supporting complex legal, compliance, or investigative matters.
  • Strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more leading eDiscovery platforms, such as Relativity, RelativityOne, Reveal, DISCO, Everlaw, Nuix, Brainspace, Casepoint, Microsoft Purview, or similar technologies.
  • Experience managing document collections, custodian interviews, review workflows, productions, reporting, and quality control processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams while meeting budgetary, scheduling, and quality expectations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to independently prioritize competing demands and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges, exercise sound judgment, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting or administering Relativity and/or RelativityOne.
  • Experience with multiple eDiscovery, review, analytics, or legal hold platforms.
  • Experience supporting internal investigations, employment matters, regulatory inquiries, litigation, compliance reviews, and data governance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, information governance, records management, and data privacy concepts.
