Job Title: E-Discovery Support Project Supervisor Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Public Trust Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 50% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: If you are a rising star in the eDiscovery and litigation support world looking to break into a managerial role, this could be the role for you! As a CACI Project Supervisor, you will gain invaluable e-discovery and litigation experience as cases goes through all or some of the phases of the EDRM spectrum, from investigation, intake/acquisition of documents and data (discovery) through trial support. You will sharpen your analytical and problem-solving abilities by performing complex legal and factual research utilizing Relativity and other eDiscovery software. You will enhance your management and communication skills by interacting with your staff and the DOJ case teams during the planning and execution of project requirements, schedules, and all litigation support activities. Responsibilities: As a part of a high performing team, CACI's Project Supervisors work with Lead Project Managers and Project Managers to serve as a supervisor over portions of a case for the Department of Justice (DOJ), specifically: * For very large cases, may be directly responsible for all work in a major task area. For example, on a case involving document discovery of millions of pages, a Project Supervisor may be responsible for all document discovery/document collection activities for the case.
* For a case involving an out-of-town trial, a Project Supervisor may be the individual in charge of the out-of-town trial support center. Alternatively, may assist several Project Managers on a multitude of smaller cases simultaneously. For example, the Project Supervisor may be responsible for oversight of responsive/privilege review in one case, while simultaneously overseeing production of witness binders in another.
* Direct supervision of a variety of Contractor staff, including clerical staff and first line supervisors.
* Frequent contact with DOJ Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, etc., as well as with other Contractor components. Qualifications: Required: * 2+ years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects, including at least one year of supervisory experience, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
* Demonstrated experience working in eDiscovery document review platforms such as Relativity, Clearwell, iCONECT, Casepoint, Everlaw, Casemap, Oncue, etc.
* Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support and eDiscovery activities.
* Requires in-depth knowledge of litigation support; excellent writing skills; and excellent oral communication skills.
* Requires hands-on familiarity the Government's data processing environment where the work is performed, including PC-based and virtual environments.
* Familiarity with electronically Stored Information (ESI) tools, tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.
* Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
* Undergraduate degree required.
* Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement. Desired: * Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred.
* Certification(s) in Relativity, ACEDS, and other eDiscovery related technical certifications.
* Paralegal experience helpful.
* Trial support experience.
* Professional, can-do attitude. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
