Job Description
THE ROLE: Senior Manager, Total Rewards Accounting (Temporary)
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for compensation and fringe benefit expenses for the Company. Reconcile between the system used to maintain employee level compensation budget (PATH) and corporate budget system (BPC). Develop the fringe expense budget and track each line time against the Plan. Refresh the estimates for the retirement and health care costs per guidance from the benefits consultants and external actuaries. Partner with HR Total Rewards team to ensure compensation planning data is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors and the HR Total Rewards team to ensure that the assumptions for the budgets/forecasts for fringe benefit expenses are accurate.
  • Review and post journal entries to the general ledger to record monthly accruals and adjustments. Responsible for proper and timely accounting close in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reporting schedules and supporting documents for monthly review meetings.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet analysis and reconciliations.
  • Prepare the monthly headcount report for the monthly financial statement package.
  • Compile and review information for annual audits of benefit plans and Corporate audits, as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc analytics and support as requested by Accounting leadership.
  • Review and process all benefits related invoices for payment.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.S. in Accounting or similar
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Accounting Experience (8-15 years)
  • Must be able to work independently, able to multi-task efficiently and meet deadlines under strict time constraints
  • Must possess effective oral and written communication / interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Strong work ethic & professionalism, must be able to handle confidential information
  • Proficient leadership and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving and decision-making skills, and continuous process improvement thought process
  • Candidate must be accountable, collaborative, creative and passionate

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • SAP ECC or S/4 Hana General ledger and subledger / SAP BPC Budget and Consolidation systems experience or financial system experience
  • Capabilities to utilize AI to enhance work process

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Global Media on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
Compensation
Contract Weekly Pay Rate: $2,600.00
