THE ROLE: Fast Channel Coordinator, Broadcast Operations (Temporary)

This role reports to the Broadcast Operations department based in Stamford, Connecticut. The duties in this position support Fast Channel Scheduling. This person elevates issues and errors discovered in the Wurl and Amagi scheduling systems. This position is Monday through Friday with flexible hours.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Schedule AEGM Fast Channels using the Wurl and/or Amagi scheduling systems.
  • Import channel schedules from the What's On programming grid and time out the daily playlists.
  • Add or delete promo time as needed to time out the playlists.
  • Attend weekly Fast Schedule meetings to see what changes to Ad Slates or promos are planned. Also to keep track of potential new channel launches.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Film, Television or 1 to 3 years' experience in related field preferred
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Both an analytical and creative thinking mind-set
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Global Media on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
