Job description

Job Title: Temp - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Days

Location: Claremont, NH , 03743
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 14, 2025
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift Schedule:

  • 5 days/week (Monday–Friday)
  • 8-hour shifts (Exact times TBD)


Weekend Requirements: None
On-Call: None
Local or Travel Candidates: Travel only – Local candidates (within 50 miles) not accepted

Pay Details

Rate: Travelers $15/hour on W2 and $600/40 hours (Per Diem)= Gross weekly $1200

Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant position supporting outpatient provider practices. Must be able to float across multiple departments, including pediatrics, internal medicine, OB/GYN, ortho, surgery, and more.
Pediatrics experience is REQUIRED and non-negotiable.

Duties include:

  • Rooming patients, taking vitals, injections, specimen collection, and phlebotomy
  • Using EMR systems for clinical documentation
  • Assisting with office procedures and maintaining infection control
  • Interacting with patients and staff professionally in a fast-paced setting
  • Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
  • Supporting the office with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years clinical practice – Required
  • Pediatric experience – Required and must be clearly noted on profile
  • Travel experience – Highly preferred

Certifications/Licensure:

  • CMA Certification (AAMA preferred) or RMA – Required and must be in hand at submission
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • Valid Driver’s License – Required
  • Phlebotomy/Venipuncture skills – Required
