Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring AR Specialist (Temp) in Phoenix, AZ. The AR Specialist (Temp) is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, cash application, and collections, to ensure timely revenue recognition and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with at least three years of experience in B2B collections and proficiency in advanced accounting software and Excel.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22 to $30 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes including invoicing, cash application, and aging management.
  • Perform B2B collections and resolve complex payment issues, disputes, and credit memo discrepancies.
  • Reconcile AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger and provide essential support during the month-end close process.
  • Prepare and analyze aging reports to manage assigned accounts and report on collection status.
  • Process lien waivers and ensure all billing documentation is accurate and compliant with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Utilize Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan, Procore, and Textura to maintain and update financial records.
  • Assist the Controller with additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, preferably in a B2B or distribution environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct.
  • Demonstrated experience with construction-related software including ServiceTitan, Procore, or Textura.
  • Proven track record of achieving collections results and resolving complex financial disputes.
  • Strong professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent on-site schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
