Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Warehouse and Facilities Associate – Temp role is a temporary position designed to assist multiple operational teams with hands‑on support in the stockroom, warehouse, facilities, and fleet areas. This individual will help organize materials, maintain workspaces, and support the upkeep of company vehicles. The work directly contributes to improving workflow efficiency, maintaining safe and orderly facilities, and ensuring our fleet remains clean and operational.

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION?
  • Receive, organize, and reconfigure stock to support procurement operations.
  • Remove obsolete or outdated parts from inventory systems.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient stockroom and warehouse environment.
  • Perform general facilities maintenance, including painting, weed abatement, and material organization.
  • Support routine upkeep of pool vehicles, including cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Transport vehicles to and from vendors (e.g., Yipes, Heritage, Noyes) for servicing or other business needs.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices at all times and represent the company professionally while on site or on the road.
  • Report any unsafe, unusual, or concerning conditions following standard company protocols.
  • Perform other duties as required or requested.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THIS ROLE?
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows applications.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfort using basic hand tools and performing physical tasks.
  • Experience in general labor, facilities work, or warehouse environments is helpful but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Must maintain a valid Vermont Driver License.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, drive, use a computer, and handle tools or materials.Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, climb, twist, kneel, crawl, or reach overhead.
  • Must be able to lift and handle loads up to 100lbs.
  • Work may occur indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • May involve walking on uneven ground, working in tight spaces, or exposure to typical facilities and warehouse hazards.
