Job description

The School of STEM Department of Engineering Technology at Vermont State University invites applications for a Part-Time teaching position for Fall 2026 (August 21 - December 18, 2026).
The course to be taught is CET 1031 - Engineering & Surveying Computer Applications I
6 hours of studio laboratory instruction per week at VTSU Randolph Campus
This course focuses on the use of computers in civil and environmental engineering and introduces Excel and CAD operation for engineering applications. It presents the fundamentals of CAD operations through the use of topics including site, structural, and environmental drawings. Major graphic subjects include creating and editing CAD primary and complex entities, dimensioning, drawing construction, layout, and output. It introduces spreadsheets using including calculations, quantities, estimates, and graphs.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or better in a related field or equivalent experience in the field. Teaching experience at the college level is preferable.
