What types of tasks can I expect as a temp computer on assignment?

As a Temp Computer, your daily tasks may include providing basic IT support, monitoring system operations, maintaining hardware, and assisting with software installations or updates. Depending on your placement, you might also help with data entry, troubleshoot user issues, or support help desk ticketing systems. Temporary assignments often offer a variety of responsibilities, which can range from routine maintenance to more specialized technical support depending on the company's needs. You'll generally work closely with full-time IT staff and other team members, providing vital support to ensure smooth business operations. Job description

Job Title: Junior CAD Drafter (Life Safety & Infrastructure)
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented Junior CAD Drafter to join our technical design team. This is not a "short-term seat" but a professional entry point into the critical Life Safety and Special Systems industry. You will work under the guidance of senior designers to produce construction-ready documentation for fire alarm, security, and access control systems. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, detail-oriented, and hungry to grow into a seasoned design professional within the construction and electrical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Technical Drafting: Prepare detailed construction drawings, including floor plan layouts, riser diagrams, and electrical interconnection details using AutoCAD.
โ€ข Project Support: Develop essential submittal documentation, such as technical data sheets and battery calculations, to support field installation teams.
โ€ข Records Management: Maintain organized project drawing files, documentation logs, and as-built records to ensure project accuracy from start to finish.
โ€ข Collaboration: Receive assignments from the Design Team and translate engineering concepts into clean, accurate technical drawings.
โ€ข Continuous Learning: Actively participate in professional development to gain a deep understanding of low-voltage systems and life safety codes.
Qualifications & Requirements
โ€ข Technical Skills: * Proficiency in AutoCAD (Version 2014 or higher is required).
โ€ข Strong command of Windows-based software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
โ€ข Background: * A professional background is preferred over strictly academic experience; we value "real-world" business or office experience.
โ€ข Previous exposure to the Construction field-specifically electrical or mechanical-is highly desirable.
โ€ข Attributes:
โ€ข Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of accountability.
โ€ข A serious mindset regarding the Life Safety industry (Fire/Security).
โ€ข Preferred: NICET Certification (Level I or II) or a strong desire to obtain it is a major plus. Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans
