Bring Your Technical Expertise to a Role That Makes an Impact

Are you a skilled electronics technician who enjoys solving complex problems, building custom solutions, and taking ownership of quality outcomes?

We're seeking a Senior Electronic Assembly Technician to join our growing team in Twinsburg, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working on unique projects that go beyond standard production work.

In this role, you'll be trusted to build custom assemblies, troubleshoot challenging product issues, evaluate warranty claims, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Customer Support teams to improve products and processes. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

Custom Electronic Assembly & Production Support

  • Build and modify custom electronic assemblies and enclosures to engineering specifications.
  • Support non-standard production builds, upgrades, modifications, and rework activities.
  • Ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer requirements before release.

Advanced Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis

  • Diagnose and resolve issues on returned products using test equipment, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Identify failure modes, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to resolve complex technical challenges.

Warranty & Quality Investigation

  • Evaluate warranty claims based on technical findings, product condition, and company policy.
  • Make informed warranty adjudication decisions with accuracy and consistency.
  • Document inspection results, test data, fault reports, and service findings.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Customer Support teams.
  • Identify recurring issues and help develop solutions that improve reliability and manufacturability.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Help reduce returns, minimize rework, and improve turnaround times.

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Provide guidance and technical support to technicians and operators.
  • Assist with training on complex builds, troubleshooting methods, and quality requirements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience documenting technical findings, inspections, repairs, and warranty assessments.
  • Computer proficiency, including experience using ERP systems or similar business software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Senior Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Service Technician, Production Technician, or Warranty-related role.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
  • Experience building custom enclosures, assemblies, or specialized technical products.
  • Familiarity with product returns, repair assessments, warranty claims, or RMA processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP, inventory management, quality, or service management systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 8D, or other structured problem-solving methodologies.

What Makes You Successful in This Role:

  • You enjoy solving technical puzzles and finding root causes, not just symptoms.
  • You take pride in quality workmanship and making informed decisions.
  • You are comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.
  • You embrace challenges with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • You continuously look for ways to improve products, processes, and team performance.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

✔ Competitive pay based on experience ($25.00-$28.0/hour)

✔ Consistent Monday-Friday schedule with evenings and weekends free

✔ Opportunity to work on custom projects and advanced technical challenges

✔ Collaborative environment where your expertise is valued

✔ Direct impact on product quality, customer satisfaction, and process improvement

✔ Opportunity to mentor others and grow your technical leadership skills
