We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HVAC/Low Temp Refrigeration Technician to service, install, and repair HVAC, chiller, and refrigeration systems, including ultra-low temperature freezers and cascade refrigeration units, for both existing and new accounts. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex mechanical systems while ensuring safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong refrigeration background, excellent electrical and schematic reading skills, and familiarity with Building Management Systems and PC-based applications. Professionalism, clear communication, and the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service/Install/Repair in an efficient and safe manner to assigned HVAC, Chiller, and Refrigeration equipment/duties on ultra low temp freezers and cascade refrigeration for existing and new accounts.
  • Working knowledge of all mechanical systems including trouble shooting, repair, and maintain complex mechanical HVAC equipment helpful.
  • Have some working knowledge of PC's, application software, and Building Management Systems.
  • Have working knowledge of electrical schematic reading.
  • Will be responsible for performing chiller PMs, troubleshooting/repairs, of freezers and cascade units.
  • Maintain record of work performed and parts/materials used.
  • Utilizes company and vendor resources.
  • Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld.
  • Ability to follow schedules and budgets.
  • Wear company uniform and required safety PPE, perform job hazard analysis.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication.
  • Interact with customer by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call.
  • Be able to explain technical information, effectively and professionally to technical and not-technical audience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To best meet the needs of our organization and customers, the right person will meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong refrigeration background
  • Minimum 5 years field experience
  • Great customer service skills
