Job description

Be Part Of A High-Performing Team:

Join a fast-growing biopharmaceutical organization supporting a global finance function during a period of significant operational expansion. This role sits within a controller-focused team responsible for strengthening travel and expense operations, improving compliance, and supporting global process consistency across regions. The environment is collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly regulated, with close partnership across Finance, Accounting, Compliance, HR, IT, Audit, travel partners, and external vendors.

What's In Store For You:

Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a full-time temporary opportunity supporting global travel and expense operations through year-end, with potential for extension or conversion based on business needs. The role offers a flexible “purposeful office” model, with initial onsite time in Bridgewater, NJ for onboarding and working sessions, then remote flexibility once fully ramped. This position provides strong exposure to Concur optimization, global expense policy compliance, healthcare professional expense controls, and global travel provider implementation support.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Serve as a hands-on Concur Expense resource supporting advanced configuration, policy workflows, system updates, and process improvements.
  • Help optimize global expense operations with a focus on accurate policy application, streamlined workflows, and compliant reimbursement processes.
  • Support global travel and expense operations across regions, including APAC and EMEA, while helping the organization expand its global travel provider model.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support the implementation and ongoing use of a global travel provider.
  • Review, audit, and resolve expense report exceptions while ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Support HCP-related expense review, reporting, and compliance requirements tied to healthcare provider interactions.
  • Build useful reporting and metrics that show policy adherence, expense trends, process performance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain documentation, guidance, and training materials that help employees and managers navigate the expense process effectively.
  • Identify automation and workflow opportunities that reduce manual touchpoints and improve the end-user experience.

Are you an experienced Concur Expense and global T&E professional ready to make an impact?

  • 5–10 years of relevant travel and expense, finance operations, accounting operations, or global expense management experience.
  • Advanced hands-on Concur Expense configuration experience, including system settings, workflows, policy rules, and expense process support.
  • Strong understanding of global expense operations, ideally with APAC and EMEA exposure.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or similarly regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with HCP expense management, healthcare provider spend, Spend Transparency, Sunshine Act, EFPIA, or related transparency reporting strongly preferred.
  • Experience auditing expense reports, resolving discrepancies, enforcing policy requirements, and supporting reimbursement accuracy.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to identify trends, compliance gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Experience supporting travel provider implementations or global travel program operations preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, ramp quickly, collaborate across teams, and avoid operating in a silo.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Associate’s degree required.
