Job description

Call Center Agent

NCMMIS is in search of 12 Call Center Agent. Labor Category – Customer Service Agent. Temporary Position (possible conversion to CSRA). Possible shift work. Selection based upon candidate's ability to meet qualifications at the best value. Rate will need to be established on the agreement prior to starting of approved candidate. If rate if not already established please reach out to SCA to receive the NTE rate in order to submit a proposal.

Essential Job Function:

  • Answers incoming phone calls on behalf of client; provides accurate and appropriate information to callers.
  • Places outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls, as required by client.
  • Completes call guides; gathers and verifies required information.
  • Attends telephone skills and program information training sessions; adheres to established levels of service.
  • Adheres to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames.
  • Adheres to contact center scheduling, ensures telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation.
  • Performs clerical or administrative duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Zero or more years of customer service or other telephone experience
  • Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology

Other Qualifications:

  • Basic communication skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to meet professional standards towards project and co-workers

Work Environment:

  • Office environment
  • May require shift work
