Job description

The Temp Services Care Agent role is responsible for taking incoming sales inquiries for temporary services offered by LRS. Temporary services include roll-off and portable restroom services. This role is responsible for accessing potential customer's needs, providing service proposals, negotiating service agreements, researching upcoming projects and utilize Salesforce to maximize sales efforts. This position will also work with Construction Representatives to provide sales support.
You will be part of a dynamic sales team, where your role and support will create big impact to both existing and future customers.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Take incoming sales calls to determine customer needs, provide proposals and close sales.
  • Manage incoming internet leads through Salesforce and follow-up with prospective customers to close sales.
  • Utilize CRM tool on a daily basis, scheduling and documenting all activities, grow potential customer list through relentless cold calling.
  • Complete profitable service agreement re-signs, extend terms, change service levels, and other tasks assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Research upcoming construction projects and work as sales support for Construction Representatives.
  • Work with customer service team to follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Perform other job duties as required.
Scope of Responsibility:
The Temp Services Care Agent is an Individual Contributor Level 1 (IC1) responsible for managing incoming sales inquiries and supporting the sales of LRS's temporary services, including roll-off and portable restrooms. This role directly impacts customer acquisition and revenue by assessing customer needs, providing proposals, negotiating agreements, and closing sales. The agent utilizes Salesforce and other CRM tools to track leads, follow up on opportunities, and research upcoming projects, while collaborating with Construction Representatives and the customer service team. This position exercises independent judgment in managing sales activities, growing the customer base, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Highly skilled in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated with a passion to help people.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with customers that includes addressing customer needs.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by phone or web meetings.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents.
  • Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels, in a climate-controlled environment with heating and air conditioning.
  • Potential for remote work or hybrid work arrangement.
  • May be required to lift up to 30 pounds.
