Customer Service Representative — Maternity Leave Coverage (Temporary, Full-Time)
Location: Calgary, AB — Quarry Park
Schedule: Full-time, temporary (maternity leave coverage), regular shift
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (MST)
Work Model: On-site / Hybrid 
Reports to: Manager, Project Strategy & Enablement
Contract Length: 10 month contract (maternity leave coverage)
Start Date: Mid-to-late September 2026

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their Gas Meter Exchange program on a temporary, full-time basis to cover a maternity leave. This role focuses on handling inbound and outbound calls related to reschedules, relights, and customer communication, ensuring continuity of service and adherence to client SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls during regular business hours
Make outbound calls for:
  • Appointment confirmations and reschedule
  • Relight coordination and follow-up
Support relight dispatch by:
  • Following defined escalation and coverage procedures
  • Identifying the appropriate technician or next step
  • Monitor and return voicemail callbacks promptly
  • Accurately document call outcomes and updates in internal systems
  • Provide clear handoffs between shifts as needed
Qualifications
  • Availability to work the regular shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (MST), Monday to Friday
  • Strong phone presence and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in time-sensitive situations
  • Comfort following structured processes and escalation paths
  • Prior call centre, dispatch, or customer operations experience preferred
  • Utility or emergency-response experience is an asset
