Job Summary The Accountant is responsible for maintaining and analyzing standard costs, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and manufacturing assumptions. This role supports inventory valuation, cost variance analysis, ERP implementation, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has strong cost accounting expertise, ERP experience (SAP preferred), and advanced Excel skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Mai ntain and analyze costs including BOMs, routings, and manufacturing assumptions Perform inventory valuation, cost variance analysis, and investigate anomalies Support ERP implementation through data preparation, validation, testing, and documentation Backfill SME tasks including standard cost updates, OCOGS reporting, and inventory reconciliations Assist with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations during month-end close Perform ad hoc assignments as required Required Qualifications B achelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 3–5 years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience Strong understanding of cost accounting principles ERP experience related to product costing in SAP Relevant SAP T-Code experience (to be discussed during interview) Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle ERP (not required but nice to have) Education: Bachelors Degree
