Responsibilities
Must be able to work in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Maintain personnel files, HRIS data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Back up for payroll and benefits
  • Assist with Verifications of Employment and other related employment verifications.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and HR team, act as a liaison between new hires and their leaders.
  • Assist with periodic data audits of HRIS data to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist employees and their leaders with accurate and timely completion of employee skill assessments and performance reviews.
  • Assist with employment-related inquiries from employees, and leaders, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Assist with office mail, scans, and other administrative tasks.
  • Support HR team with all internal and external HR related tasks and projects.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to visit the Chantilly office as needed for correspondence support.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Payroll experience is required.
  • Experience with Workforce Manager, Workforce NOW and ADP is required.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and agility in a fast-paced HR environment are required.
