WORK WEEK SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Position is not available for a Hybrid Telework workweek 

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

Processes inventory and time for Transportation staff and ensures accuracy for all data entries.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel; Google Apps; 

  • Excellent customer service skills;

  • Effective time management skills;

  • Ability to complete tasks and minimize errors with attention to detail;

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships as a team member;

  • Ability to work independently, complete tasks, and exercise independent judgement in the absence of clear directives;

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; 

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

None

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of BSIP and EKOS.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Processes inventory and time for Transportation staff.

  2. Performs a variety of general office duties to support the activities of the bus garage including receiving telephone calls, maintaining and updating records, preparing documents, and filing documents.

  3. Compiles data from multiple sources to analyze and report bus garage related costs.

  4. Performs other related duties, as assigned.


WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community. Work is considered light physical work, requiring the exertion of up to ten pounds of force.
