Position Summary:
The Telemetry Technician/Cardiac Monitor Technician/EKG Tech plays a crucial role in our acute telehealth company by monitoring and analyzing real-time patient data to ensure the accurate and timely transmission of critical health information. As a Telemetry Technician/Cardiac Monitor Technician/EKG Tech, you will contribute to delivering high-quality remote patient care and facilitating prompt interventions when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hospitalists to assist in patient care plans based on telemetry data
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to telemetry equipment and escalate to appropriate support teams as needed
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company protocols, policies, and standards for remote patient monitoring
  • Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to convey patient information to healthcare providers and remote care teams

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of hospital experience as a technician
  • Ability to pass Telemetry Technician competency
