ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Telemarketer to join our team. As a Telemarketer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and promoting our insurance products and services through outbound calls. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the insurance industry.
We strongly encourage recent high school graduates and others that are looking to start an entry level role to apply. This position will lead applicants to becoming an agent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote insurance products and services.
  • Identify and qualify leads by gathering relevant customer information.
  • Stay informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm.
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing or referrals to schedule appointments.
  • Provide initial information to potential customers and answer basic questions about insurance options.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospects and customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous telemarketing or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Communication and persuasion skills.
  • Basic understanding of insurance products or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
  • Organizational skills to manage and track multiple leads.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Focus on achieving targets and contributing to the agency's growth.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
