The counselor will work remotely, connecting with patients via telehealth platforms. • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and screenings for patients, using telehealth tools to evaluate mental health conditions and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide supportive individual counseling and crisis intervention services to clients experiencing situational stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues.
• Facilitate engaging virtual therapy groups and workshops that focus on mental health education, coping strategies, and personal development tailored to the needs of our patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care providers and specialists, to synchronize patient care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Promote mental health awareness through outreach initiatives, community workshops, and participation in wellness events to foster a culture of proactive health management.
• Maintain thorough and secure electronic records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical documentation practices.

Our clients range from adolescents to adults dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and adjustment difficulties. The therapist will be equipped to handle the unique psychological complexities that arise within a hospital setting, understanding the interplay between physical and mental health conditions.

• Valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree is required, while a master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience and knowledge of mental health issues, particularly those prevalent among patients in a hospital environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage empathetically and effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practices and familiarity with brief therapy techniques is essential for addressing patients' needs efficiently.
• Capacity to manage a varied caseload while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced virtual healthcare setting.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably with telehealth exposure.
• Experience with trauma-informed care practices and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.

• Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
