The Role



LUZCO is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Controls professional to support scheduling and project coordination efforts across a variety of electric utility projects.

In this role, you will work closely with project managers to develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules that support projects through design and construction. This position offers exposure to multiple projects at once and is well suited for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and working at the intersection of technical progress and project planning.



What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, typically ranging from 20 to 200 activities
  • Collaborate with multiple project managers simultaneously to support projects through various phases of design and construction
  • Load and manage resources within project schedules
  • Perform quality checks and support reviews related to project controls deliverables
  • Compare schedule data with financial information to help ensure alignment and consistency across project timelines
  • Communicate with project teams to understand technical progress related to electric utility, transmission line, substation, and telecommunications projects
  • Integrate schedule data with other project information using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and other data tools

Essentials to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field from an accredited program
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting project schedules, with hands-on use of Oracle Primavera P6
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Comfort working with schedules, data, and multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver’s license required
